The concept of multimedia
From time immemorial people have used various mediums or media to express themselves. Writing is a medium of expression, words are a medium of expression and images are also a medium of expression. When we talk about the media in many ways, we identify it as multimedia. Due to the evolution of civilization and technology, these mediums have been used in many ways. Especially when we are living in the digital age, our type of medium of expression has changed. We now feel that the media of the analog age is not the main medium of expression in the digital age. On the contrary, although the old media of the analog era was used in this era, the level of its use has changed. Media that used to be used differently is now being used together. Again, the ability to program digital devices has been added to all those media. We now call many media interactive multimedia for its multidimensionality and programming power. These two words are now widely used. In a word, multimedia means many mediums. Interactive multimedia means many of the mediums with which the user can interact.
Multimedia is a combination of different media of human beings. We express ourselves using at least three mediums or media, namely, letters, images and sound. There are also different forms of these mediums. These three mediums appear before us in different forms, sometimes separately, sometimes together. We know the publication of these mediums as paper publishing, radio, television, video, movies, video games, educational software, webpages etc. However, we will not call all of them or more than one medium as multimedia separately. Someone would want to call paper publishing or radio multimedia. It would not be right to say. We can call television-video-cinema multimedia. Again we can call video games, educational software or web pages interactive multimedia.
Multimedia can usually be borrowed or managed with the help of digital devices. It can be either in-between or otherwise broadcast live. Electronic devices for capturing and managing multimedia content are also known as multimedia. Multimedia is the use of all three mediums together in an activity. After the rise of cinema in the late nineteenth century in 1795, the addition of text, graphics, sound and animatim to the interplay of different mediums became a form of multimedia. So to say the ancestor of today’s multimedia is to remember the movie. However, it is not too long ago that computers started to be associated with technologically advanced media.
Multimedia media
We all know that the most popular digital instrument is becoming known as computer calculator. Data processing and communication was an important part of the computer. This instrument was then widely used for writing. But in order to do all this work, in the beginning, only one media head of the computer was used. But over time the computer is integrating images and words. Moreover, the computer has the ability to program. Cloud computer multimedia means an interactive experience with a combination of letters, images and words. Today's multimedia experience is much richer than in the past. The use of multimedia as a device is not limited to computers but mobile phones, smartphones, tablets and other digital devices near us are now used to hold and manage multimedia.
